Hello,
I have an inquiry regarding Vista supported languages . In case i have
purchased my notebook from UK which does not support Arabic language
How would i make my Vista edition supports Arabic language? Should i
re-install different Vista version or its just a simple add different
keyboard from control panel?

In other words,
Does the standard Vista home supports all languagesor only specific
ones?

Kindly advise.
Thank you

The Vista Home Editions do not support all languages. You either have to buy
a new copy of the language you want and do a clean install (replacing your
English version with the language of your choice) or upgrade to Vista
Ultimate and add language packs.

There's a couple of different things here.

1) The language the operating system is in.

On Windows Vista Home Premium, this will be stuck in English, if you were
using Ultimate you could download several dozen and actually change the
language of the UI.

2) Input languages.

Like you said, all you need to do to input a different language is add it,
and a suitable keyboard in Regional and Language Settings. Assuming you
still have English too, you'll get a little thing down in the tray called
the Language toolbar, which let's you switch different languages as you need
to.

Language packs are available from the MS website for Vista Ultimate.
For other versions, this site: http://www.froggie.sk/ claims to be
able to switch languages. I have not used this myself, and have not
heard from anybody who has tried, so I don't whether or how well it
works.

LIPs are for under-served markets and minority languages. That does not
describe Arabic.

It's fun to bash MVPs, but find out what you are talking about first.
