That's because on the Processes page, on the Memory column, it doesn't show
all the memory the program actually uses. (I think)
When you click on View>Select Column, you can make other types of memory
usage visible. I don't know which is the one you want, but I always use the
"Memory - Working Set" column. The default is "Memory - Private Working Set"
and that one shows less memory than the other one.
However, the memory usage visible on the Performance page is really the
total amount of memory used.
