Vista Taskbar Problem

Hi.
I'm new to this kind of thing...the whole "Technology forum" thing...

Anyway, I've had Windows Vista Home Premium for exactly 2 months now,
and I'm having one very minor problem that is bugging me.

You all know the taskbar at the bottom of the screen right? Well, for
some reason, whenever the desktop is visible, the taskbar appears to be
a very greyish color.

Normally, it would be blue, or black, or whatever color I choose, but
recently it just looks like a grey hue.

However, this only happens in the Windows Aero theme, and only when the
desktop is visible. As soon as I maximize a program or window, the
taskbar returns to a normal color.

Does anyone have any answers?

Run System Restore to a time before the problem began.

I bought a new computer and reinstalled the games on it. They've
always been like that on the new computer. On my old computer, they
worked fine

Run in compatibility mode.

When posting, please quote relevant information so that others may learn and

And I'm trying to help you get help.
If you post properly more people will be able to see the issue and that will
increase your chances of getting the help you need.

For example, if someone views this post that will not know what the issue is
because you did not include it in your post.
Get it?
