vista trash icon doesn't change

I have Vista Ultimate and when deleting files and folders the trash icon
does not change sometimes. I will reboot and then the trash icon looks like
it's full which of course it is. So the only way sometimes to delete / empty
the trash is to restart the pc.

Why is this broken and how do you fix it? It never used to happen. I've not
done anything weird in that I've installed al of the official patches to
windows update and so forth.

Wow, thanks. I have right clicked the desktop and said refresh and that
never fixes the issue. So that web site, installing the reg fix might work,
not sure yet. I'll install the reg file fix and just hopefully it won't have
this issue anymore. I hope this issue is fixed in sp1.

Web site fixes did not fix my problem. I still have the same issue.
