vista ultimate and internet security programmes

anyone have any idea why i cant run the most recent programmes for internet security on my vista ultimate
i can run the old one, this has only 6 days left

i have downloaded trend micro and kaspersky free trials and neither will work, yet the old TM one does, which is 2008 version

each time i have installed them they have cut the internet connection after bout a minute or so. i can niether update nor open a webpage untill i close them down and renew and repair connections
i have no other av or firewall programme runing and vista is a clean and fresh install. updates in up to date too

Are you saying they Kaspersky and Trend Micro interfere with your with your
Internet Connection? You probably need to check the utilities options to see
if there any settings available that might be doing Network Filtering.
