have 32bit ver duo core.....could this be the problem? some programs seem to
malfuntion easily and have slow issues..... What should you REALLY have in
hardware for better protection and reliability?

Dual core is not going to be your problem. Can you be more specific? What
program's? What is the exact error message or symptoms?

That would be not installing software on the machine that is not Vista
compatible, which can and do cause problems.

too many issues to list, i feel the reliability & performance is not right
for such a new system

With anything, it all depends on who is sitting behind the wheel and is
doing the driving, and what you are doing that is maybe causing the
conditions.

Yeah, best to come back when you've more user experience.
Vista is not xp+eye-candy as some thought.
