Vista Ultimate SP1 download fails

Hello,
I tried downloading SP1 for my Vista Ultimate. Well it keeps failing with an
error code 80070017. I am unsure what to do. I have tried several times now.

Is Windows Update offering Vista SP1 or are you attempting to install it
manually?

Clean out your temporary internet files.

Do some hard disk maintenance

Tried both items above and no go.

It is being offered to me from windows update.

Try disabling your anti-virus application and any real-time protections
afforded by any anti-spyware applications (other than Defender) before
attempting to install SP1.

I understand that means it is corrupt. I cleared my temporary internet files
4 times now. Even on the last 2 plugged myself into the cable modem DIRECTLY
no wireless. Still no dice.

Okay, so you cleared the TIFs, you disabled your anti virus software, you
cleared out the temporary WU files located in the
softwaredistribution/downloads area and you ran check disk and defragged the
system and you're still having problems.

Perhaps you should now start a free incident report with MS.
