Vista unable to update error 80004002

After yesterday vista is unable to intall new updates, always gives error
80004002 and try again.

Tried already installing the most recent updater on this forum and also the
run comants, but nothing seems to work. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

i have the same problem since last week
need help other then the commands below

I am also having problems with this update (read my post, search for Bondo).
All the Vista updates were OK, BUT the Office 2003 updates refuse to install.
I have downloaded the updates (3) KBxxxxxxx and tried to do a manual install
but the install app gives me an error message "Install in unable to install
this update".

Is there a MVP who can solve this problem ???

I have a frsh installation of Vista Premium and I got the same error message
on the first update try and still getting the same error. Can anyone help
please?
