Vista Update files - how to delete them?

Where does Vista keep its updates files? In XP they were hidden in the
Windows folder, but you could unhide them and delete them manually.
Since these updates will eventually take up a lot of room on the drive,
I would like to delete them.

Is there a way to do this?

Go to command prompt and type these commands in:

regsvr32 wuapi.dll
regsvr32 wuaueng.dll
regsvr32 wuaueng1.dll
regsvr32 wucltui.dll
regsvr32 wups.dll
regsvr32 wups2.dll
regsvr32 wuweb.dll
