vista update help

HI i have windows vista and i waS getting some bad viruses. so
restored the system from a week ago. now ive downloaded the Zun
software and it wont finish set up it loads for hours. so i tr
shutting my laptop down and while shutting down its configuring upate
for a very long time.
ill turn it back on, it installs 3 updates and try to install zune agai
does not work. ive had zune before and it installed in seconds.

i shut comp down and the congfiguring updates comes up and takes hour
to shut down.

it never did this before i restored the comp set for a 1 week back. an
it wasnt doing this one week back...
can someone please hope its never done this before

Best to perform a "clean install" of Windows Vista. The damage caused by the
viruses cannot be repaired.
