Vista Update Problem

After the updates to Windows Vista 64 and all the security updates were
automatically installed today, Internet Explorer is very, very slow and
doesn't respond.

Why do they keep updating just to cause more problems! I'm going to have to
do a system restore just to get rid of the updates so things will work right
again!

Can't wait for Windows 7 to come out. I just hope it isn't too costly to
upgrade.

Pat

This is Not Updates fault, Pat.
When there are several Updates, and this time there were about seven or
eight of them, you cannot do them all at the same time, even though they are
all checked. Therefore you have to uncheck all but one and do them
singularly to be safe.
Be patient in the process and wait for each one to finish, including
restarts.
There may be opposition to this method, but from the perspective of my
experience it works flawlessly.
Best of luck,

Harry.
