Vista updates 22 June 06

When trying to install the 6 updates which became available on the 22,
Windows update fails giving error code 8000FFFF. Does anyone else get this?

Even though you seem to have a Windows Update issue, since Vista is a Beta
product, you should ask this in a Vista newsgroup.

i'm getting the exact same problem.....

can't find vista newsgroups :-(

I am having the same problem. I live in Australia and I suspect (after
looking at the updates log) that the update server for my locale was not yet
defined. I changed my locale to US but still the same problem exists. Is
there an answer out there yet?

at the update log, I suspected that the server for my locale was not yet
defined and so I changed the locale on my computer to the US. Still the same
problem. Is there an answer for this yet?

Please post the URL that you are using to make your post.
That will tell us which portal you are using.

For example, users of this portal may be unaware that the last 5
newsgroups in its menu are not Vista specific newsgroups.

E.g. clicking on Windows Update there results in a post to a common
newsgroup for all users of Windows Update regardless of what their
OS is.

In case whichever portal you are using actually can show you Vista
General NG I am crossposting there for you now. In that case you
should be able to open it at my message by clicking on the newsgroup
name in the header.
