Vista upgrade certain web links will not open

Since upgrading Windows XP to Vista certain web links, specifically the free
Mcafee anti virus suite offered through Comcast, will not open. I know the
site is fine as I can access it through my preinstalled Vista desktop PC
using the same gateway. Gateway, McAfee , Comcast and Microsoft have been no
help...Any suggestions?

Hi,

Close any open instances of Internet Explorer.

Go to the Control Panel/Internet Options/General tab, under browsing history
click on 'delete'.

Delete Temporary Internet Files and Cookies. Close this dialog when
complete.

Click start, type CMD. Right click the entry in the start menu, choose 'run
as administrator'.

From the prompt, run "ipconfig /flushdns" (without the quotes). When
complete, exit the command prompt.

Retry the sites.
