Vista Upgrade to Ultimate

Hello,

Can I use a fresh copy of windows vista ultimate to upgrade vista home
premium, rather than go through the anytime upgrade process?

Home Premium came with my computer. However, I can now buy Ultimate from my
university for a very low price of only $18. Will I be able to use those
Ultimate installation disc's to do an "upgrade" from my Vista Home Premium,
rather do a complete reinstall.

(I have so much software already installed ... it will take me more than a
month to reinstall it if I need to do a complete reinstall.)

Hello Brian,

Is the version from your university a full edition or an upgrade edition?
In both cases, you should be OK to upgrade.

Jane, not plain 64 bit enabled :-)
Batteries not included. Braincell on vacation ;-)

It's a full-version; that's why I was concerned. I'll buy it tomorrow and
see how it goes. Thanks!
