Cut the crap! Vista does use lots and lots of memory just because it has
1000 percent more CRAP loaded in the memory
for the OS itself, like dlls, running services and processes.
THIS IS NOT the memory caching of programs I am talking about. This is only
what vista uses for Vista.....
If you want to see some real caching of programs install ubuntu and add the
process viewer to the panel.
There you will see how a seriously made OS, can use little resources for
itself and use the cache effectively
In contrast with the lies spewed by Vista boys... like this Dzomlija, vista
handles memory like a PIG WITH LIPSTICK!
Funny that in order to run vista well you need more ram than a 32 bit OS can
address... the only way for vista to perform
a little better is to install 8+ gigs and use the 64 bit version.
Other than that, windowsXP and windows2k and MacOSX and Ubuntu runs circles
around vista-crapista...
what a lame excuse for an operating system!
Take a look at how well MACs handle memory here

Vista is pathetic .... it's a joke! Thank god MS is hurrying up to replace
the darn thing!
And people claiming how good vista is just prove my rule of thumb:
"If you like vista you are stupid T"
