Purchased a notebook yesterday that has Vista Home Premium pre-installed

1. Was not able get the time zone value to stick during setup,
Had to reset after set up.

2. I successfully connected to the internet via dial-up, but I then changed
the settings to not automatically dial. Now I cannot find the equivalent of
"Network and dial-up connections".
I want to create a shortcut on the desktop or a toolbar for each connection.
How does one do this?

3. I have 2 desktop.ini icons on the desktop. Likely, because I told Vista
to not hide any files.

4. How does find the equivalent of Windows Explorer?

5. Ditto for My Documents and My Computer.

For internet connections Start>Network>Network and Sharing

For Windows Explorer>Start>Programs>Accessories>Windows Explorer>the usual
right-click>send to desktop for a shortcut!

Once W.E. open> Organise> Layout>Menu Bar

You find Documents and Computer in the Start Menu!
And there is no more "My"

I found it.

I had to hold down the left button while I dragged the scroll bar.

I do not like the Touchpad, I'm gonna buy a mouse.
