msconfig -> services -> hide all microsoft services -> uncheck these i
they exist: xaudio, vongo, stllsvr,roxmediad89, installdriver tabl
manager, cyberlink background, cyberlink task,
Then click on boot tab ->advanced options -> number of processors 2 -
maximum memory.
If still doesnt work then may be something is wrong with your PREFETC
folder in x:\Windows\Prefetch
I use System mechanic 8.xxx and it has an option of defragging suc
files that windows loads on startup... Doing that once in a while keep
boot time in check... try that one
