Vista vs XP AGAIN

I am trying to use/like Vista.
However it froze when importing images from another program into Photoshop.
The spinning green circle endlessly, unable to call up Task Manager to try
to kill the programs: is this an allegory for life or the mark of a
defective OS?
I did the same thing on a less powerful machine running XP (slower
processor, less memory): no problems.
Ah, what krud this Vista be.
I extend my curse on Microsoft for this bloated, inefficient and poorly
coded loser. No feel good ads on televsion can make up for the fact that
this dog don't hunt.

Vista has a new "feature" actually a curse. Now it is fairly common
for the system to throw a 'device not responding' error when it fact
the device or application hasn't broken any rules or done anything
wrong but is none the less seen as doing so by Vista. Proven if you
simply wait and unlike in XP the 'not responding' warning message goes
away on it's own. Not my idea of an advance either.

vista.general has a feature that is actually a curse. It's called
Ringmaster and this "curse" will attack anyone who has a different opinion
than Ringmaster. Be very careful not to disagree.

You give no information on how you're trying to import the images. For
example, what "program" are you trying to import images from? What format are
these images? As far as we know, your problems may stem from some old
software that was written for WIN95 and you're now trying to use on Vista. If
you really want help, then please be more specific about your computer's
environment and less melodramatic.

This newsgroup has a resident troll named Yanaire. This dope
constantly tries to look smarter than me and every time he tries he
comes across looking dumber than before he replied.

See my reply under Yanaire's Ass Kicker where this clueless Putz gets
a spelling lesson on the use of you're.

Hmm... if Vista wasn't such a screwed-up pile of crap, people wouldn't
ask how come it is prone to crash doing routine tasks XP handled
without issues.

Why do fanboys always automatically excuse Vista as the potential
source of the problem and go off on a hissy fit trying to blame other
software?

Here's a news flash for the Microsoft faithful. File handling is a
BASIC function of any operating system. Copy, Paste and drag and drop
as well as import and export should function regardless how old the
application is. Regardless, the flaw goes to Vista for not being able
to exit gracefully if it hangs up trying. A common "feature" of
Windows from the beginning over 20 years ago.
