When addressing an e-mail, it takes forever to get an address.............any
solutions?

Call The Person And Get Their Address, Then Type It In Quickly. That
Doesn't Take Forever. Just FYI

How are you getting the address
I've just tried it on windows mail and windows live mail. (Tools
select from contacts.
It is immeasurable. Maybe half a second
