vista wont download updates, none available

Hey, Does anybody know whats goin on here. When i go to download update
in vista. It says there aren't any available. I have ultimate and
didn't get the new updates they just came out with, i got them on m
other computer. It just says there is nothing new available, no erro
message.

Do you still have the log from the other computer to compare against?

Only way I got mine to work, was:

1: Make sure IE7 is default browser
2: In settings: Disable the More Windows Updates - only allow the
Recommended updates.
3: In settings: Check the Never Search for updates.
4: Close windows update and start it again. Then click the Search button.

It's not optimal, but will at least give you the updates.
