Yes, then check after each and every install of every app and every Update
(Windows or otherwise), until you find the incompatible app or driver that
has caused the problem.
Or you can take the time to formally t-shoot the problem. I didn't see you
mention MSCONFIG, aka System Configuration Utility. Are you familiar with it
and its uses in trouble-shooting?
