Vista won't load

Hi, I hope I'm posting this in the right place. I got a new PC a few
months back which came with Vista pre-installed. I don't have the CD. A
couple of days ago I went to load it up and it gets to the loading
screen then where its suppose to show my log in page nothing happens, I
just get a blank screen. I've tried every trick I know but nothings
working. If I load up the recovery manager I get the blue background and
mouse cursor but then nothing. The same thing happens with every
supposed helpful tool that comes with Vista. My pc goes to load it up
and then doesn't. I haven't installed any new hardware or software. The
last thing to be installed was a windows update.

I did create the rescue disks but have sinced moved house and I think
they were thrown out accidentally with some other stuff. If anyone has
any suggestions I'd really appreciate it.

You need to contact your support folks who you purchased the the PC from. Is
it a name brand PC or custom built?

Boot into "Safe Mode" and use System Restore
which is found by going to Start > All Programs >
Accessories > System Tools > System Restore

If System Restore cannot get you up and running,
contact the manufacturer of your new PC and ask
the support department what method to use to either
repair or restore your factory installed Vista operating system.
