Vista Won't Remember Folder Views

Hello,
I looked for a search option for previous posts but didn't find one. N
matter what I do in folder options Vista Ultimate will not remember th
folder views but defaults to -Date Taken, Tags, Rating, etc..-. Doe
anyone know of a fix for this

Sounds like Vista is sniffing the content as pictures & applying the
'Pictures' template.

Do the folders in question contain jpegs or similar files?

Have you used the 'Customize this folder' option & changed the template to
'All Items'?

Does that stick?

"apply to all folders" button and now they all are behaving the way I
want them to (so far) after clicking it.
