Vista Won't Resume from sleep.

Hi,

I am running Vista Home Premium and my computer will enter sleep mode,
however when I attempt to resume it the screen stays blank and the hard
drive activity light is lit, but the system does not appear to actually
resume.

Any help on this would be appreciated.

hey, i too am having a problem with vista home premium returning from sleep
mode. The only difference in my problem is, once i try to start up from
sleep, my power button is lit, but, there is no hard drive activity. When
this happens, i have to manually shut down and reboot my computer, it is
large hassle, a solution would be much appreciated

If I find anything out then I will let you know. Equally I would appreciate

You might try going through these troublshooting steps to see if it
will help you find your sleep mode problem.
