I use a Comcast cable. I'm connected to a CableModem, no wireless stuff. I
have never installed anything from comcast, and it's been fine for the past
year. I really think it's something to do with my network adapter now.
Because before it would freeze up on start up, whenever I would lose
connection to the internet because the modem crashed, Mozilla Firefox would
freeze up until I had internet again. And i just tried to install the driver
for my network adapter, my comp froze entirely, i couldn't even move the
mouse pointer around, or do ctrl alt del
