I could wake from sleep before but can't completely because my monitor
doesn't turn on. The monitors light is orange and sonetimes says no display.
Everything else does like the fans turn on. This all started to happend after
I overclocked a little.

What happens when you restore everything to stock speeds? Do the
problems still occur?

Check your ram - I had the same issue. Settings are saved to ram. I
you have some bad memory, the settings are corrupted and part of th
result is the monitor will not display. Hope this helps someone. I rea
half the free world and no-one had a real fix

I am having the same issue with my laptop. HP is quick to call it a
hardware issue so that they can charge me $400 to fix something that may
not even be the problem. I currently have my laptop connected to the
monitor of my roommates desktop and everything is working fine. My
computer still runs well, I just put it on sleep the other day and
closed it up. When I opened it the next day, the monitor would not turn
on. Lame.

Try reconnecting it to an external monitor again and start it up. Hopefully
it should then see the external monitor. Then shutdown the computer(not
sleep), Start it up and hopefully you will be back in business in business.
