Vista x64 SP2 - Now Hibernate/Standby Won't Work...

So I successfully installed Vistax64 SP2. Now I just get a black scree
every time I close my laptop screen and open it up again, forcing me t
hard reset it. Any suggestions?

Laptops usually have custom drivers. It sounds like you need to go the
laptop's OEM web site and obtain the proper drivers.
Don't forget to check for BIOS updates as well.
Things might be worse!
