Visual themes reverting to regular theme?

I downloaded a vista visual theme and I applied it patching my syste
etc. but when I turn off my computer and turn it back on or any othe
time when I turn my PC on the theme is applied but after a few second
it reverts to the regular vista theme. Does anyone know why this happen
and how to prevent it? Thanks in advance :
