Voice Changer ??

When I Skype, the other person hears my voive as if it went through some
type of voice changer. My actual voice is camoflauged somehow. I thot it
might be a Skype thing, but when I record and play myself back (no Skype
involved) it is camoflauged! Is there something in Vista that I can turn
off to seactivate this?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Check out your soundcard settings - there should be something in Control
Panel. You may have some effects turned on, like Reverb or something like
that.
