volume control

Just started using Vista. Is there no way to get a volume control icon
in the tray for easy access to the voulme controls?

Mine was just there from Day 1, running Vista Ultimate.

Found the answer via Google. Right click on system tray. Click
Properties and check Volume.

Volume Control in Vista is such crap comparing to WinXP.

It looks like another shiny artifact devoid of function, yet catchy for the
ey ... candy
