The volume icon no longer appears in the system tray. I do not know of
anything I did to remove the icon. When I go to the Taskbar and Start Menu
Properties box and look on the Notification Area tab, the Volume, Network and
Power icon options are all grayed out. Any suggestions on how to restore the
Volume icone to the system tray would be appreciated.

Control Panel, "Sounds and Audio Devices" applet, "Volume" tab. Make
sure the box labeled "Place volume icon on the taskbar" is checked.
