VPN issues

Can someone out there help me out ? ?
I am trying to set up a peer to peer VPN so that I can access my work pC
from home. So far I registered it as a host with a DNS provider. I enabled
routing and remote access, configured security L2TP/IPSec. was able to ping
it from home but not able to connect - My guess is I can't get into user
permissions and the primary sign on would have to be through a VPN allowed
group permission USING...Vista Home basic. What's my next move??

Just to let you know that alot of companies are still work on this tryng to
set it up.
I work from home and one of the companies are not able to help me until they
get the software to work right with vista xp had no problem. I work through
cisco and citrix problem for me right now until they set it up. I have 2
companies I work for 1 works and the other not.
