VS.NET 2002 Install error code 1602

Hi,
after HD failure I'm reinstalling all SW.
My Visual Studio .net Prof Version 2002 acts up:
after one hour I get this message from the installer
" Installation aborted by user"
In the log file I can sse that nearly at the end (after installtion all
components without problems) suddenly a return code 1602 (abort by user)
appears.
No, I did not touch anything. Yes, I tried four times.

User: Adminsitrator, Virusscan off - same error.
OS W2KProf. German + Sp4

I installed .net2002 with the same cds two years ago without problems. No
change of OS, just Sp4 instead of SP2.
Anyone encountered that problem before?

Any help or ideas are very welcome...
