Vulnerability MS05-046

Running XP Home on two different systems:
Both systems are fully up to date with critical updates.
However, every time I log on either system, I get the dialog box:
'Vulnerability MS05-046 Detected' and a request to go to the MS Update
website. When I do, and the system is examined, it says that no critical
updates are required.
Any advice please? If XP has been updated, how do I stop this dialog box
appearing?

What is the source of the message?
What is at the top of the message box?

Do you have a firewall:

If you have Panda, you might try some of these previous messages:

Thanks. I found the answer after I posted my question. I am new to this
Group and still trying to find my way around! Installing KB899589 from
Microsoft Update (not routinely recommended) seems to have done the trick. I
have yet to install it on my other system.

Because MS05-046 (KB899589) isn't offered for Windows XP Home since
it doesn't contain the vulnerable component patcht by KB899589 anyway.
See the FAQ section of the Security Bulletin for details <duck>

Panda is just once again misleading the user "a little bit".

Bye,
