For anyone interested - not many by the look of it.
I have run update.exe from the folder where wganotify is sitting as per
later posting in this newsgroup.
Machine hangs in exactly the same way, but the update installation wizard
shows "Finishing Installation" and "Details: Running Processes after install".
Ctrl-Alt-Del does nothing. Right clicking the task bar does nothing.
Explorer has an hour glass. Clicking the start button does nothing.
Suggestions from "Professionals" welcome.
