w.l.m. shut down;

when i sign in to wlm page loads up and all is fine, then after about 30
seconds i get the message windows live messenger has encountard a problem and
needs to close no error messages. I have the latest build 14.0.8064.206
then the usesual box would you like to send to microsoft or not and i send
it. this all started after i installed the latest build

i have windows xp sp2

Greetings Kevin,

Just as a starting point, you might try downgrading to the previous version just to see if
this happens there.

To do so, just head over to Add or Remove Programs in the Control Panel, find Windows Live
Essentials and uninstall Messenger from there.

You can then install 8.5 (2008) by downloading and running the following Microsoft Installer
file:
http://messenger.jonathankay.com/redir/wlm85.asp
