Hi,
Sometimes, if MDAC and/or MSXML 4 is not up to date, Windows Update/
Automatic Update doesn't see the Rollup 1 as installed:

In the thread in the link above Dave Hawley mentioned that the problem
seemed to be caused by

which needed to be upgraded to SP1, and MSXML 4.0,
which needed to be upgraded to SP2.

He found this from running MBSA 1.2.1
