W2K SP4 Download Problem

Reinstalled W2K pro on a computer connected to our work network. The install
disk had SP3. I am trying to install SP4. I have tried the express download
and I have tried to download SP4 from MS Downloads. Each time, SP4 will not
install. SP4 express will download but will fail when it starts to install
(sometimes it will go back and try to re-download a portion). SP4 download
from MS Downloads will completely download but when installed, indicates that
the file is corrupted.

No other programs have been loaded. IE was updated to 6.1 and Windows
Update new version installed.

Any help?

Several ideas: (1) Something wrong with the connection,
e.g., too noisy? (2) Use another location or computer to
get the SP4 file. (3) Use a different download site for
obtaining the file to download from Microsoft. (4) Order
the cdrom.

Actually what did finally work was to download sp4 and save it to a network
drive and then reinstall W2K Pro w/o updating IE or Windows Update.

I was about ready to order the CD.

I spoke too soon. That did not work. SP4 started and could not copy all the
cabinet files.
