w98 root certificates

Hey Folks, I hope not a dumb question.
I live in an old network where the powers that be don't like to spend the
dough.
I have managed to convince them of the need for up-to-date AV and we use
Norton's Corporate. All been fine as can be expected...However for the w98
install it requires the w98 root certificate update to be installed. For the
last week or so, any new win98's I update, don't get this update, and I
cannot seem to find the update anywhere on MS updates inventory.

Did Microsoft remove this from the Update list? Your solution worked great
for us, but I thought it odd that it no longer showed on the Windows 98 and
Windows 98 Second Edition Update List

Hi

The answer from Tom Pepper Willet works great in W98. Can I use the same
upgrade in Windows ME? If not, where can I find it?

I had the same problem. Tom Pepper Willett's solution worked like a charm.
