Waking up windows vista

Lately when I wake up vista from the power save mode, my screen goes black a
couple of times. Could this be a software issue or is my laptop having the
issue? Does anyone have any ideas?

It is most likely the graphics drivers sorting themselves out..

Mine has always done it. You must have been lucky. I don't think that it is
anything to worry about at all..
