I want to fix Vista on a Restart to reopen the same windows that wer
open, before I shut down the computer, when I have to restart t
computer, I got this to work on a hp Compaq pc, but I do not remembe
how I set it up in Vista on the Compaq, any ideas ?

try:
Tools > Folder Options > View > and check "Restore previous folder windows
at logon"
