I have tried some tweaks and adjustments that I found via google..

any other ideas? Vista doesnt want to use my USB 2.0 flashdrive

I have 1.25 gigs of ram

if I up to 2, will I see any SIGNIFICANT improvment?

How much RAM you need for good performance depends on what apps you
run, but *most* people with only 1.25GB should see a substantial
performance boost by upgrading to 2GB.

so what good would increasing it do?

Hi Windows 7 M1,

This will show you some options to help improve the performance of
Vista. Step 32 will help explain how the RAM is used in Vista. Vista
will work with the amount of RAM you have, but having 2 GB will help.
