Thanks, ramsgate, I'm glad to know I'm not the only one. I had an idea for
another approach that I would be willing to live with--to keep the second
user but somehow make the separation between users "transparent," so that
when I was in my preferred user, I could select "show all users" and then
"show all user files" and the files from BOTH users would be visible and
accessible. Then I could open files from either user and work on them and
save changes. Is there a way to do that?
