I've sent the Microsoft Co. a demand. If I'm not paid within 2 weeks I will
sue them. It costs me nothing but they will have to send thier lawyer to
defend the suit and I'll be sure every newspaper gets a copy of the
complaint. Let's see who blinks first lol

You're going to file the suit without a lawyer?
MS probably won't even have to think about the suit for a couple of years
until a trial date finally comes up. By then, whatever you paid for
whichever prodcut you want a refund on, they will have earned in profits,
interest, etc to a factor of about a million times that.
You're a mosquito chomping on the butt of a wooly mammoth.

But keeps us informed on how that's going, OK?

Ok, I'll give you nerds a primer on the Law. Microsoft does business in
every State and most countries which means that the jurisdiction for a
lawsuit can be anywhere and not just within the jurisdiction of their home
office. If I want a refund of say $300 for what I consider a defective
product all I have to do is file the suit in small claims court locally.
They will have to either defend it or have a default judgement entered
against the company and since they have plenty of assets it will be no
problem in getting the County Sheriff to collect it. btw, it costs me 0.

But you didn't buy it from Microsoft, you bought it from some other seller.
If you want a refund, contact whoever you bought it from. Besides, you
generally can't get a refund on software once you open the package and
install it.

You think you are the first to dream up this idea? It's been tried before
and dismissed.

Awww crap! And I had such hope for little billy and his little lawsuit.
Oh well, maybe he can just wait for that email where MS will pay you a bunch
of money for forwarding an email. Or maybe he'll win that Nigerian lottery.
I've won it several times; I just wish my winnings would hurry up and get
into my bank account!

I guess this nerd doesn't understand that 90% of serious computer use is by
MEN. Sure, he was a clever nerd who developed an OS and managed to conive
his way into owning a large Corp. but otherwise he's a jerk.
It looks like that wife of his has him pussy whipped and he's using that
foundation money in an anti male and pro feminist manner. If we choose the
men's movement can bury this guy in lawsuits.
