wanting to install windows installer 3.1 bits 2.0 and http 5.1 upd

every time i try and access the windows update site for 2000Pro it keeps
having me update and install Windows Installer 3.1 BITS 2.0 and WinHttp 5.1
and when i do install them and try to update 2k it still gives me the same
three updates even after a reboot....is there anything to do about this
problem?
