Bought and installed WEB EASY 7. Ran fine no problems. Shut down system
and when I started up later and executed WEB Easy it said that it could not
fine the serial code. Put the serial code in again and it ran fine, until
the next shutdown and restart. Worked about 6 weeks with WEB EASY
(Avanquest) to resolve and they could not. Their final fix was to format
the disc and install a clean Vista with all updates. I have not problem
with any other software that I have purchased.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled WEB EASY from my account with Admin Priv
as well as Installed with the "Hidden Administrator" logon. Avanquest has
of course said it is Microsofts problem and hung up.

Apparently when I do an initial install and enter the serial code as
requested it puts it in the worng place or somewhere that later users,
including the Administrator, does not have access to; or the prgrram itself
is locked out of.

Any Ideas .. ?

Thanks

Did you even look at their web site? If you did you would have seen that
their products support Windows XP.

Maybe you should have read their "requirements" before doing what you did.
If it states somewhere else that their product works with Vista, please
point that out. Maybe I missed it.

Oops. I guess I ****ed up that one. I did find a support page for the
product and it said XP. Maybe you're right, I should have smoked a bowl!

Thanks ... What I might try is to run it as XP even though

1. Avanquest insists it is Vista Certified
2. It shows up in the MS Software Compatibility site as Certified .. in
32 bit no indication in 64 bit .. may be a clue
3. after 6 weeks on and off with Avanquest support techs (ya right)
they say it is certified and it is a Vista problem, Vista is broke
(always is if you don't know) and that I should reformat my disc and
reload a clean version of Vista.
4. It says Vista on the Box.
5 I have no issues with any other software ,, even downloaded a trial
of WebStudio 4.0 .. no issues there ..

What a douche bag. So you take your Ford to the dealer. "Mr. Service
Advisor, I've only had my 2009 Mustang for 3 months and while driving down
the street, I hear a rattle".

Mr +BOB+ - Thanks for brining your car in to Vista Ford. Yes I do hear the
rattle, but I suggest buying a Chevy.

IDIOT.

Vista 64 bit has these kinds of problems. Either go back to XP or
install 32 bit seems to be the only solution.

You got it wrong, nitwit. It's more like going to the Ford dealer
complaining that the aftermarket stereo you bought isn't compatible
with the factory supplied amplifier - and that the stereo manufacturer
won't give you any support beyond claiming it is compatible and the
issue is Ford's. (Even though lots of other aftermarket stereos work
fine with Fords).

First, it's not Ford's job to fit it. Second, they'd advise you to buy
a different aftermarket stereo. Third, if the stereo manufacturer gave
you this kind of support, you'd never buy a stereo from them again. It
all fits.

PS - if you'd like to suggest a solution to his problems, have at it.
No? Didn't think so.

Wow - You really came up with a solution to the OP. I wonder where it is?
oops, it's still shoved up your ass. Better release it so the OP can have a
solution. HA HA HA HA
