Web Search for an Image Without the Use of Text/Name

Hi,

I know how to find an image file on my HDD (hard disk drive) when I don't
know the name of the image file, but I have a copy of the image file I want
to find. Note: The name of the image file copy was changed.

I have a tool I made once where I can enter a hex pattern that represents
a sequence of bytes which is part of the image. Of course, this tool won't
work on the web unless I download every web site's contents and search
the cache after each "download". This would consume a tremendous amount
of time.

As you know, web search engines use text patterns, to the best of my
knowledge.

Do you know of a web search engine or tool that can search the web in a
similar way my "tool" can search my HDD?

Thank You in Advance, John

PS, Remove "ine" from my email address

Try Google.

This is less obvious than it sounds. Google has been experimenting with
image searches based in some way on content.

So search within Google for Image Search.
