webcam (acer orbitcam)

Hi All,

after installing all the recommended updates (33 of them)for my new laptop
(VISTA Prem Home)
my acer webcam stopped working. Does any have a fix for this. I have tried
updating the drivers and ran the xp compatible mode etc. to no avail.

yea, i'm having some similar probs. i got this laptop about 3 months ago, it
has a built in webcam, but about a month ago, it stopped working randomly. if
i want a guarantee that it'll work, then i have to restart the computer,
which is obviously very inconvenient when i'm trying to use it. any
suggestions?
