webcam locks msn live

Hi all,

I have an asus PG221 LCD monitor with built in 1.3m webcam but everytime i
use it on msn live, my msn locks up and i have to end programme.

I have deleted the webcam driver and reinstalled but same thing. I called
ASUS but the technician just told me to reinstal drivers and that was all he
could suggest.

I am using the latest windows live and latest asus webcam drivers so any
advice would be great. PS i am using vista 64 bit home premium and have a
decent spec quad core machine.

Check the Drivers are for 64bit system

Most of these reports are incorrect. Vista supports more hardware
straight out of the box than Xp ever did. If the drivers are the
correct drivers for the OS, ie. 64bit for Vista 64, 32bit for Vista 32,
try running the app in XP compatability mode.
