I recently purchased a Logitech QuickCam Pro 5000 which installed Windows
Live during the camera installation. The camera works great and is displayed
in the scanner and camera section of my Sony Vaio RC110G's control panel.
However, when running the WindowsLive Audio/Video setup, my camera is not
listed and I'm not able to perform video calls in WindowsLive. Any
suggestions?

Hi Darren,

Click on the Drop down arrow in the Audio and Video Setup, where it
configures the Camera.

Also might wish to uninstall Windows Live Messenger, with everything
closed except for the Control Panel and Add or Remove Programs. Then
reinstall Windows Live Messenger and rerun the Audio and Video setup Wizard.

thecreator,

The camera was not showing up in the drop down window. I tried uninstalling
and reinstalling the camera a couple of times to no avail. Anyway, after
uninstalling and reinstalling WindowsLive, the camera did show up in the drop
down menu. I assumed that the software would recognize the camera since the
Webcam installation installed the software. Problem solved. Thanks for the
input.
